Ontario Standard Closing Documents
The Working Group is pleased to provide the newly approved Ontario-wide standard closing documents for all to use. We encourage all real estate lawyers to adopt these as their closing documents and encourage their fellow practitioners to do so. The documents can be easily completed by selecting them as your default documents in your document preparation software (see below).

The Working Group undertakes a yearly review of the Standard Closing Documents. The changes effected can be reviewed in this release.
The Standard Closing Documents have been adopted by many individual lawyers or law firms throughout the province and by the following area associations.
The Ontario Standard Closing Documents are available to be used with the software that you use to manage your real estate file.
